Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you (the "Customer", "you") and Hasmord, Inc. ("Hasmord", "we", "us", "our"), which operates the Hasmord platform, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization.

1. The Service

Hasmord is an Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) platform that analyzes product pages, generates reports and recommendations, and probes third-party AI systems to estimate how they reference your products. The Service provides informational analysis and tooling only. It does not guarantee any commercial, ranking, visibility, traffic, or revenue outcome.

2. Accounts & eligibility

• You must sign in through a supported identity provider and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms and use the Service only for lawful purposes.
• Each distinct login identity constitutes a separate workspace (tenant); you are responsible for the data and users within your workspace.

3. Subscriptions & billing

• The Starter plan is free. Paid plans (e.g. Growth and Pro), and any custom Scale plan, are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring monthly or annual basis.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price each billing period until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method on each renewal.
• When you change plans, we apply proration for the remainder of the current billing period; upgrades are charged immediately and downgrades take effect as described at the time of the change.
• Prices, plan limits, and features may change. Price changes apply to the next renewal after notice is provided (for example, on this site or by email).
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes. Fees are stated exclusive of taxes unless noted.

4. No refunds — all sales final

• All payments are non-refundable. Except where a non-waivable law requires otherwise, we do not provide refunds or credits for any reason, including partially used periods, unused time, forgotten renewals, or dissatisfaction with the Service.
• No refunds for results. The Service is a set of analytical tools. We make no guarantee that your AEO score, citation rate, AI-answer inclusion, search visibility, traffic, conversions, or any other metric will reach any level or improve at all. Failure of the Service to achieve any score, citation, ranking, or outcome you hoped for is not a basis for a refund, credit, or chargeback.
• If you cancel, your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period and then reverts to Starter. Cancellation does not trigger a refund of amounts already charged.
• Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for validly incurred charges is a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension or termination.

5. No guarantee of outcomes; third-party dependencies

AI systems, search engines, and answer engines (including those operated by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, and others) are controlled by third parties and change constantly and without notice. Their outputs are probabilistic and outside our control. Any scores, probe results, predictions, or recommendations the Service produces are estimates based on the information available at the time and may become inaccurate or outdated. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on the Service.

6. Acceptable use

• Use the Service only for product data and websites you own or are authorized to analyze.
• Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, transmit malware, or scrape, overload, or abuse third-party systems or APIs.
• Do not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or attempt to circumvent plan limits, quotas, or access controls.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or abuse the Service, with or without notice.

7. Customer data & license

You retain ownership of the product URLs, content, and data you submit ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and use Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the rights to submit the Customer Data and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, reports, models, and content (excluding Customer Data), is owned by Hasmord, Inc. and its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT ANY PARTICULAR RESULT, SCORE, CITATION, RANKING, OR OUTCOME.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HASMORD, INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU ACTUALLY PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Hasmord, Inc. from any claims, damages, liabilities, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Customer Data, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

12. Suspension, termination & changes to the Service

• You may cancel at any time from your account. We may suspend or terminate the Service, or any account, for breach, legal risk, non-payment, or discontinuation of the Service.
• We may add, modify, or remove features, plans, or limits at any time. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) survive termination.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You and Hasmord, Inc. agree that the exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Before filing any claim, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting legal@hasmord.com.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
