Can You Back Up Your Product Claims? AI Fact Checking for Product Pages

Published Oct 16, 2026

Can you back up your product claims?

Only if a source backs them. A fact check sorts every product fact into four groups: checked independently (a review, a test or customer reviews say the same thing), backed by your own page (only you say it), conflicts (two sources disagree), and not enough evidence yet. Your own page is a start, not proof.

Buyers and AI assistants ask the same thing about a product claim: says who? So can you back up what your product page says?

Open the product’s Evidence page. Sources lists every page Hasmord has read for this product, starting with your own. Add more: a professional review, a test or benchmark, customer reviews, or your policy page. Hasmord reads the facts in each one.

Then Fact check. Every fact lands in one of four groups. Checked independently: a review, a test or customer reviews say the same thing. Backed by your own page: only you say it. Conflicts: two sources disagree. And not enough evidence yet.

Here, thirteen facts are backed only by EchoSubs’ own page, and nineteen don’t have enough evidence yet. Your own page is a start, not proof. Hasmord shows what your sources support; it doesn’t decide what’s true. Check your claims free at hasmord.com.
